Domesticity?

Well, we've moved into our place in Rozelle and have spent the past couple of weekends buying stuff to use and sit on. Well, trying to find something to sit on, which has so far proved pretty difficult. I'm sitting on a football ball bean bag at the minute and that is our most impressive seat at the time of writing.

We moved into the house on 18th March, which was the day after St Patrick's Day and the same day as the Kings of Leon played in the Entertainment Centre. So it was a busy couple of hungover days. Went to The Welcome for Paddy's Day and had to queue to get in! Shocking, I tell ye. Kings of Leon were fantastic once again although the venue isn't great and the crowd are always strangely quiet.

Switched one of my sporting allegiance's as a result of the move. Am going to barrack for the West Tigers this year instead of Melbourne Storm. They're the local NRL team and I've mentioned going to their ground before.

Was at a christening yesterday up in the Northern Beaches. A christening! First time that's been mentioned in these pages and maybe a sign of changing times. However, there was a lot of free beer and I certainly helped out with putting that away.

Met up with Jane Harkin last weekend as she is working in Sydney for a couple of weeks. Went to the Opera Bar in Circular Quay, which is a great spot to take anyone visiting from back home as it's right down by the harbour as the name suggests.

Going to see The Duke Spirit this week for their debut show in Australia. Should be grand indeed.
