Got the old broadband connection sorted out on Friday so am finally able to be a nerd at home as well as work. Hence the Saturday night blog entry. The chap turned up at 12:45 yesterday afternoon to install the line - 15 minutes before the end of the install window. Meant that I did a total of 2 hours work on Friday before free beers. Ended up in a place called Randy Wixs in Randwick. It's as bad as it sounds.
Decided that I'm due a quiet weekend for the good of my wallet and liver. A girl from work is putting on a 80's rave themed vodka infusion party tonight but I've given it a miss. Settled for a take away pad thai, bottle of wine and the fa cup final on SBS.
Going to book Thursday off I think. State of Origin on Wednesday night followed by the maaaasive Champions League final. Don't think I'll be too clever after those two events.
