Been meaning to update this for a while as I was jaunting around the country a little last weekend. Was down in Victoria for young Emily and Ben's wedding in Barwon Heads. It was on the day that is now known as witnessing the worst bush fire in Australian history. We weren't aware of anything else going on as you tend to do at a wedding and were only concerned with getting through the 47 degree heat in a suit without keeling over. It was hot alright although the worst I had to endure over the weekend was a combined total of 6 hours delays at the airport. Nothing to do with the raging fires, just incompetence.
I do have some photos but have left my camera over at Lia's house. Speaking of which, we are due to move in together in about a month or so. Just need to find somewhere to live first of all!
Ben and Emily are taking a short honeymoon in Sydney so we met them on Tuesday night at Capitan Torres, a Spanish restaurant I'm pretty sure I've mentioned before. Great paella but we ordered too much as usual.
The weekend before last we'd been at Bronte Beach again for a relaxing day in the park with an esky. In fact it's generally been a pretty good summer here in Sydney so we took advantage of that last Wednesday as well at the Moonlight Cinema watching Pulp Fiction under the stars. All very pleasant although the weather's taken a turn this week and I fear autumn is just around the corner!
