Summer?

It's meant to be heading summerwards now but I'm sitting writing this in the kitchen as it pisses down outside. Using towels to catch the drips. That's summer back home not here surely!

So once again it's been a while since I wrote anything here and that's mostly due to my own laziness. However, we've been kept busy enough with a few gigs lately, of varying quality. Have been to see La Roux, Metric and Gomez over the past couple of weeks when the music quality got better with each gig. La Roux was a shocker, as they like to say here. Had to stop half way through 2 songs and start again. Poor. Metric were good live but Gomez were really good as always. Although the girls next to me didn't have quite the same experience apparently. Some beer may have spilled in their direction during "Get Myself Arrested".

We went to a Brazilian BBQ restaurant last night. A procession of various meats on sticks that the waiters bring round and carve onto your plate. Outstanding it was. Then went to see An Education at Leichhardt cinema. Managed to stay awake for the whole film unlike Inglourious Basterds a few weeks back. Although that was after a full day of drinking at the Australian followed by the MSG overload that is Seabay. Speaking of films, if you haven't seen "Looking for Eric" yet, then you really should.

Looking forward to seeing plenty of beach balls at Anfield later tonight.
