Tetsuya's

Today is a special day as we're going to one of the most super top notch restaurants in Sydney. It's Lia's birthday tomorrow so we're having lunch at Tetsuya's. I booked it about 6 months ago and it was fully booked for dinner even then. Lunch is the same menu as dinner though and what a menu! To say I'm excited as I'm writing this is an understatement.

Then tomorrow I'm off to see the Tigers play the Melbourne Storm at Leichhardt Oval. I've long since stopped supporting the Storm and their salary cap sandalled team so go the Tiges! The Tigers are pretty much guaranteed a place in the finals at this stage so it should be a good game. Melbourne will probably win though.

It's a been a while since the last update and we've been to a few more gigs in the meantime. Seen Ash and We are Scientists double head-liner at the Metro, Eels at the Enmore and the Strokes at the Hordern Pavilion. And it's meant to be the quiet time of year. This is the encore at Ash/WAS - what live music is all about.

Also ran the City 2 Surf a whole two minutes faster than last year. Results are here. Lia ran round with little Ben (Amy and Robbie's wee fella) in a pram. Madness. We've also signed up for the Bridge Run in a couple of weeks time. Not the marathon you understand, 9km is far enough thanks. Should be good craic to run across the Harbour Bridge so.
