Merry Christmas

Been a while since an update but thought I'd take the opportunity to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas from down under, where it's not -10 or anything like that. Although today is currently fairly overcast and only 26 degrees. And the sea is still pretty cold let me tell you. Have been to the beach a few times but not lasted any longer than 5 minutes in the water at which point all feeling in the legs and hands is gone.

Since my last post we have seen a few great gigs - Eels, Sharon Jones and Gorillaz. They were all superb but a John Lennon tribute we went to was not quite in the same category unfortunately.

You'll be glad to know I am writing this as a member of the Division 3 Rec Footy champions - Wykyd Styx. We won by 66 to 28. A thrashing in anyone's vocabulary!

Had a very inspired Art Attack moment and made my own costume for the Austereo Christmas party a few weeks back. Five hours it took (with Lia's assistance I may add). It turned out well though.

There were 3 other Rubix Cubes at the party - the theme was "Toy Box". Mine was the best of course but I must admit that it didn't last too long on the night...

And some very good news here. The Black Keys are playing at the Enmore, Sydney in January. On a Saturday night as well thanks very much. Best news ever!
