Didn't make it to the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday as I had been out drinking till 3 on Monday night. Ended up drinking with this tinker from Dublin who left his phone in a taxi and spent all night using my phone to try and get it back. He promised me some smoke in return but I got too hammered and went on home instead. He was a sound guy but made me lose my undefeated streak at pool, which had lasted from Saturday night.
Had a job interview today and will find out tomorrow if it's a goer or not. Will be starting Monday if it works out and last until the end of the year.
Saw The Departed last night with Daniel and Jess. Tonight is a Kill Bill Double Bill at the Astor Theatre - so I'm there. Barry Norman or what.
Tara is cooking dinner for the younger generation in the family on Friday night. That includes me by the way. It'll be me, Tara, Daniel, Cindy and Paul (Tara's boyfriend, who is the national Australian body building champion - seriously. He nearly broke my hand shaking it when I met him. He's fecking massive).
