Hot hot heat

37 degrees again today so good excuse for another Christmas lunch down by the beach. Went to the Stokehouse, so that'll please Charlie as he's been banging on about getting myself down there.

The Tuesday night do was solely attended by radio or transmitter engineers - one guy has worked on a transmitter site since 1968 - so the conversation rotated around various incidents involving broken valves and the pros and cons of high vs low lumen for home cinema projectors. If you know what any of that means you're a better person than me.

Yesterday was mental as the whole city was covered in a thick smoke from all the bushfires to the north. They're the worst in years apparently and the smoke stinks. Not to be outdone, one of the genius DJ's did a massive wheel-spin in the underground carpark and filled the rest of the office with smoke through the air-conditioning.

No luck as yet getting the radio clip on here, but in an exciting new development should be able to post phone calls now so keep listening.
