Working

Started work this week for Austereo who run 2 radio stations out of St Kilda - MMM and Fox. So far so good. Pretty relaxed compared to working in finance - music playing everywhere, cricket on TV, playing darts and working in normal clothes.

Have been to Sydney since the last post. Met Chris and his work mates along with some other chaps who've immigrated here. Most hallionesque weekend yet - got kicked out of two bars, one of which I fell down a full flight of stairs wearing my flip-flops and still have a massive purple wee toe. Sat with my foot in a fountain for ages feeling sorry for myself.

Thankfully no fabrics were wetted by either Chris or myself. First time for everything.

The bus journey was a fecking nightmare. On the way back a young German lad was using my shoulder as a pillow. And my ankles swole up like a pregnant woman due to the lack of movement so I couldn't sleep because of the throbbing pain. No wonder women complain about giving birth.

Best news to date is that Dan has given me his ticket for the ashes on boxing day, which is the greatestest thing to happen all year. What a fecking hero.
