Met Will and Harry last Wednesday night (nothing to do with any royalty). They've been in the country for about a three weeks longer than me, but have been in Sydney and Queensland for the whole time, and were in town for a couple of days before heading off to New Zealand. They used the time to experience the cultural highlights of Melbourne and went on the Neighbours tour. I didn't even know there was such a thing. Was amazed to learn they've taken over 1000 photos since getting here. I've taken about 40 and most of them are pictures of the back of peoples heads. Anyway, met them in Young and Jackons and then went onto e:55, which is where I started writing my blog. Seems like a while ago now, but you can imagine the attraction of an internet cafe that's in a basement bar.
It was Tara's birthday last weekend so was out for a family and friends dinner on Saturday night. Went to that vege place, Soul Mama's, in St Kilda where I went with work before Christmas. Loads of beans and lentils etc. After that went into the city with Tara and some of her mates to a place by the Yarra. Good bar where you could sit outside and order drinks through a window. Forgot to bring my camera.
Spent Sunday doing absolutley nothing. Was at Gail's house and they even let me watch all of the repeat showing of the Utd match. Was glad to be inside all day as the sun burn from last week had turned into a full blown molt. Had some Russian red sparkling while I was at it, which was much much nicer than it sounds.
Only about 3 weeks left in the job now, so time to start getting ready for some time off. Have a rough idea of a plan hatched so ready for the backpacking trail. Had a few a contacts from various employment agencies as well, so not worried about finding work later in the year although it will more than likely be based in Sydney this time. Talking of work, thought it was time to get geeked up and show you the fabled dart board in the workshop. Now that's a photo.
