Had a few days around Brisbane and been taken with a need for some cultural stimulation so have been to all the art galleries and museums in the area. Been to a few drinking establishments along the way and did get on the Castlemaine brewery tour. It was set up by some Irish men. Isn't that odd.
Very transient place, Brisbane. Most people have only stayed here for one night and over the course of the 4 nights there have been 10 different people in the same 4 person room. Maybe it's my snoring.
Went to Moreton Island yesterday, which is just off the coast near Brisbane. Had a full day of sand boarding and trekking over the island with a group of about 7 people. There are no sealed roads and all the vehicle tracks are sand. Absolutely beautiful place.
Off to Surfers Paradise today and that is more like Benidorm apparently so prepared for a different kind of experience there. Easter holidays as well so it will be busy.
