Next week is the last week of my working holiday visa in Australia - doesn't seem like a year since I got here. Been an absolutely amazing experience.
Off to the UK and Ireland on Monday week for a good 3 week holiday and I can't wait. Time has been booked in Belfast, Yorkshire and London so hope to take in all the old haunts at some point.
Still waiting for confirmation from the agency that my business sponsorship will be approved so there is a chance I'll arrive back here illegally. Might be cleared up next week but not sure yet. I've a one-way ticket booked to Sydney in any case so that could be an expensive mistake.
So this weekend will be pretty quiet - will be watching England play Australia in the rugby on Saturday night and then off for a round of golf on Sunday afternoon. Need to keep a lid on things after the massive long weekend just past. Good news is that the rooftop at work is properly open again after a few months of inactivity thanks to some falling debris from the neighbouring buildings. So, with the sun back in full effect it should be a rather pleasant evening tonight.
