Braidwood

The Braidwood Cup turned out to be a great day out way out in the country. There were many bets placed and I actually ended up a winner at the end of the day, which doesn't happen too often.

We stayed with Sam's mum in a big old country house on the outskirts of town after arriving on Friday night straight after work. It was first time in my working career with Austereo that I did not have a beer in the office. It was worth it though despite the 3-4 hour drive.

Saturday was at the races followed by lots of pool in the family pub and then a BBQ at one of the neighbour's houses. Sunday we went swimming in a river up the road from the house and then had some rather splendid beef roast for lunch. Very pleasant all round.
