Wet

Most of Sydney has already had it's average rainfall for February by now, 7th Feb. It's been pissing down pretty much constantly for a week. I'm starting to feel troppo.

Last Saturday was a much nicer day and I met Dave Wood and his flatmate, Justin, for a few beers in the Kirribilli Club, which is an RSL on the North Shore. Bear in mind that this is a joint for ex-servicemen to get cheap booze. Look at the view.



I love the way you can place a bet on just about anything in the Aussie pubs. The Kirribilli Club is particularly well served having it's own internet portal for research. Saying that, my "research" led to me betting an accumulator on the top four in the Premiership. Thank you Utd and Chelsea.

Heading into the country this weekend. Sam, my flatmate, is off to her mum's house in Braidwood for a day at the races on Saturday so it's turned into a full-on house expedition. It'll be a 3 hour road trip to get there and should be good craic. We leave on Friday night and get back on Sunday.

Incidentally, her mum owns a pub in the town.
