Finally back to the blog after many 10s of thousands of miles travelling and chronic jetlag. It took me about a week to get over the week spent back home. Knackered but very glad I went.
Went to the Mardi Gras on Saturday night to experience the mental parade going on. It was indeed mental and I've never seen such an amount of carnage on the streets. Was going to try and stay up and watch Utd afterwards but was too tired. Also tried to meet Whittle during the parade but that all got lost in the crowds, plus I didn't get down there until after 10:00pm.
This weekend is the Future Music Festival
Have persuaded a few people that it will be worth going (as long as it doesn't start pissing down again).
Also, Mel the cleaner has returned from her walkabout to much cheering and celebration in Bondi Junction. Hooray!
