Coming so soon after Paddy's Day was also probably not such a good thing. One thing I didn't mention from last Monday night was that Mr Scruffy Murphy's himself was there and bought us all a round. Fair play to him.
So, there was a BBQ at Amy and Robbie's house on Friday that lasted until 8:00am or so on Saturday morning. There was some rain that was held off by some expertly erected tarpaulins (nothing to do with me obviously). Other than that it was a rather splendid day of drinking and making merry.
Dave Wood and that turned up at around 8:00pm to eat the contents of the fridge and drink all my Black Bush. Although, at that point I was touting it as the best whiskey in the world and trying to get everyone to agree.
They agreed
Carried on for most of Saturday too and then met the TDW lads again in the Australian that night. Once again we arranged to make a trip to Fraser Island. Have to look into some cheap flights for that, hopefully sometime next month.
Went to that Safari thing again on Sunday night but was literally speechless and went home to spill pizza all down my front and fall asleep on the sofa. Meant I missed the Super Sunday weekend of football back home despite Whittle and Woody trying to make contact. Great result for Utd though.
Saw Hayley off to the airport on Monday afternoon. Got an email at work from Robbie to let us know that he'd binned 15 empty cases of beer.
