Residency

It's been a long time between posts as I've been back half way around the world to visit the homeland and watch the World Cup at a decent time. Although I haven't previously written about anything that's happened outside this island it is worth noting that we had a great time in Europe. We got to Coleraine, Belfast, Dublin, Paris, London and Leeds. Every day was superb in it's own way but the highlight was surprising my Dad on his 60th birthday. I hope that port is going down well!

Was great to see everyone and introduce Lia although didn't get to see everyone we'd plan to. Next time. We do have a ton of pictures that I'll put up sometime.

The great news that I have to report since my last blog is that I am now a Permanent Resident of Australia. It only took 6 days from posting the application form to get it confirmed, which is slightly less than the 5 months I was told it would take. Awwwwwwwww yeah mate!

So now that I'll definitely be here for a while longer we spent the first weekend back in Australia spending a small fortune on furniture. Oh, how these blog posts have changed over the years (and it is going on for 4 years now). I was completely hammered on Saturday night though. Had a tour of the local haunts that have become more than Welcome. There's also the Ruby and 3 Weeds now of course. Welcome home.
