Cleaner go Walkabout

Mel, the cleaner has gone walkabout again so I have to lift a finger today and get the house ship shape. Unreliable.

Football season kicks off again both here and back home. Not NRL, AFL or any other ball game that involves your hands, football. We're off to see the big one tonight when Melbourne are in town to play Sydney at the Sydney Football Stadium, which is just behind the SCG. Great game to start the season and I'm going with a good few Melburnians so it should be good enough. Hope to round the night off with a pie down at Woolloomooloo and then some Premiership action.

Speaking of which, I played football on Monday night over in Neutral Bay in North Sydney. It was great to play again but my god was I sore all week. It's a weekly thing so looking forward to getting back into it again. There are a load of games played under floodlights in a park and once those matches stop us gypos go on and play for an hour and a half until the lights go out. Now that's Aussie.

Last Saturday we went to see a Christy Moore tribute act over at a bar in the University of Sydney which was good craic as they say. I've never seen so many Irish people in one place and stereotypically it was 5 deep at the bar. I ended up buying six packs.
