Went to see the Sydney Swans getting hammered last weekend, courtesy of a free ticket in the members stand. Got the ticket from one of Emily's mates. They were rubbish in a rubbish game. The most remarkable thing about the game in my opinion was the most smoke laden smoking section I've ever been in. And it was outside too. Had a few drinks in the Gaslight pub on Crown Street afterwards.
The Western Bulldogs were beaten on Sunday night too although the season is going pretty well so far this year. Third in the ladder at the time of writing.
Met Keiran in the Robin Hood on Monday night. I know him from England and he lives in Melbourne now. He was starting off on a 4 week trip around the east coast so was in town for a bit. Good place to be going as it's pretty cold in Sydney at the minute -relatively speaking.
Saw Batman in the Imax cinema on Tuesday night with Sam and we also went to see Lightspeed Champion on Thursday night in Oxford Arts Factory.
Met the 2 Daves last night in Strattons after work. Dave Whittle has finished working in Sydney and is off on an epic journey around the country. Dave Wood was just back from an epic journey across India and Europe. I crossed the road from the office to the pub.
