Moving again and staying on

Had a couple of big decisions this week and am happy to announce that Austereo will continue my contract into 2008 thereby paving the way for sponsorship. The agency who organised the job are going to apply for the sponsorship through them. It's just the first step and these things don't tend to be quick so wont know for definite anytime soon. Naturally, it's now pissing down and freezing.

Also found a house in Balmain last weekend and have secured the top room with balcony. Michelle, my platonic flatmate is due to release an album soon. Some of the tracks are on MySpace. Was also up that end of town for a quiz night on Tuesday. Mid table obscurity.

Last Friday night was the Austereo awards night with various prizes for people doing their jobs well. It involved a lot of free beer and we even had Jagermeister girls doing desk visits. Things didn't end up to clever that night and I woke up on a sofa under a towel on Saturday morning. Exhibit A below.



Saw The Editors on Wednesday night. They were pretty good but plain stopped playing half way through one of their songs. Tonight is Arctic Monkeys!
